Advanced selection allows you to add to the selection all items that you have listed, for example, in a table in Excel or in a text document.

You can open the Advanced Selection window via clicking on the icon in the left panel next to any table in Quant.

Advanced Selection 

Various parameters are set in the advanced selection window:

• In the first selection, you choose from several options that determine what you want to do with the products: add to selection, remove from selection, select exactly, select everything except.
• In the second selection, you choose the format in which you have the product attributes listed in the file.
  • Row Separated IDs - products are separated by rows from each other
  • White Space Separated IDs - products are separated from each other only by a space, semicolon, comma, dot.

Advanced selection parameters

In the Excel spreadsheet, you have several product IDs listed that you need to mark in Quant so that you can edit them in bulk, for example. The procedure is described in the figures below.
