What was your main motivation for looking for a space planning system?
Our main motivation was to increase efficiency and optimize product placement within our pharmacies. We wanted a centralized system that would streamline planogram implementation and ensure a uniform layout across all branches.
Why did you choose Quant?
We chose the Quant system because of its advanced features and ease of use; it best met our specific needs.
When did you start using the Quant system?
We began using Quant in February 2022.
Do you remember your expectations at the time?
We expected Quant to provide a centralized solution for implementing planograms across our pharmacies and to create a consistent, unified look in all our branches.
What were the biggest obstacles, and how did you manage to overcome them?
One of the greatest challenges was the fact that the equipment and fixtures in our pharmacies vary significantly between locations. This made it difficult to apply an identical planogram across the entire network.
We resolved this challenge by adopting a flexible approach to planogram implementation, allowing for necessary adjustments based on the unique layout of each pharmacy. We ensured that the overall structure remained consistent while allowing for individual modifications to match different equipment setups without compromising the unified brand image.
How was the implementation process, and what were the first benefits?
Despite the challenges posed by the diverse equipment layouts, the implementation went relatively smoothly. Some of the first noticeable benefits included:
Improved implementation of planograms across various locations.
Reduced preparation time and increased efficiency in space planning.
Have you managed to integrate Quant with other systems, such as ERP, to automate data flow?
No, we have not attempted to integrate Quant with our ERP or other systems.
How do you rate the quality of support?
The support team is very responsive and helpful.
What are the main results of the project so far, and what are your future plans and goals for space planning and category management?
The main results so far are:
- Improved contractual relationships with manufacturers who pay for planograms in our pharmacies.
- Better management of planograms across all branches.
Our next goal is to expand the use of planograms to the cosmetics department to ensure better organization and visual appeal of these products. Additionally, we aim to maximize efficiency, increase sales, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers through the continuous optimization of our space planning strategy.
Would you recommend Quant to other retailers?
Yes, we highly recommend Quant. It is an extremely useful tool with a helpful team and an easy-to-use platform.
